Born and bred in Hong Kong, I grew up with Traditional Chinese Medicine being part of my lifestyle. Whenever I fell ill, my parents would take me to the Chinese herbal shop. There would sit an older gentleman, asking to see my tongue and feel my pulse. Then he would scribble on a sheet of paper with illegible characters and we would go home with a bag of dry herbs to be cooked into a concoction. I would drink the liquid and feel much better afterwards.
Fast forward a few decades and after several jobs in the luxury lifestyle sector, I was burnt out. Looking back, I have always been interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The herbal scents and the wall of wooden drawers have provided a calming effect throughout my childhood. It feels natural to pursue the wisdom of our ancestors on how to live our lives and be well, both physically and mentally.
Studied and trained with leading Traditional Chinese Medicine professors and practitioners, I am a registered member of the Acupuncture Society of Professional Oriental Therapist (ASPOT), fully insured to practise acupuncture, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion.
Specialised in cosmetic facial acupuncture and women’s health, I look forward to sharing the ancient oriental wisdom on personal wellbeing with you.
